Been away a long while...

it has been very nice to have forgotten jehovahs witnesses.
my life got so busy running my biz that i just had no time to concentrate on anything else for a while.

by mouthy init has been nice talking with you.but i seem to upset a few because of my faith.. so have a great christmas.... & be good, i wont be here to send you to your rooms .
i have grown close to many of you.... if i have ever said anything to hurt you sorry!!!!.

A mistake in fading 4 months ago is coming back to haunt me... HELP!!
by ILoveTTATT inso today, two elders from a congregation i was in two years ago came by the house.
they said they wanted to talk to me about things that they have heard, and that they want to talk to me very quickly, as soon as possible.
perhaps before this week ends.. i don't know what to do!!

Your mother needs to get the message that this mess is her doing and she needs to fix it.
She raised you in a doomsday church that already had a string of prophetic failures before you were even born, (name one that occured in her lifetime, that she would have had to ignore, excuse, whatever). Jehovah had steadfastly refused to do anything the WT promised on his behalf before you were born and she still gambled on them, a high stakes gambol that if Jehovah let them down as usual could easily result in her kids leaving the church, resulting in instructions from her church leaders to shun them if they got DF/DA.
It was her choice to raise you in the church, her choice to advise you to get baptised even though Jehovah had already clearly demonstrated he didn't support the WT's promises, and now it is her choice whether, or not, to attempt to call the dogs off and try to influence them to leave well enough alone ..... and if they do announce you as DF/DA it will be her choice whether, or not, she lets her church leaders tell her to destroy her relationship with you.

Wife and kids are officially OUT!!
by Oneoutallout inmy wife has told her jw best friend and jw sister that she is givng up the religion!!
and there was i worrying about losing her when i left the cult.
and, to top it all, my 15 and 13 year old children are using their critical thinking skills and can see it all for what it is.

by smiddy ini for one would be very interested , if you can quantify what his acheivements have been , these past almost 100 years .. incidental acheivements could do for a start ,.
followed by more meaningfull acheivements ,.
then to top it off , with his major acheivements that he can be accredited with these past 99 years of his kingdom rule ,.

I have a Grandson!

i remember so clearly thinking i would never graduate from high school in this "system of things".. .
this boy will play soccer/football/basketball/band/baseball/camp, whatever the h, e, double l, he is passionate about.. .

We are not trees
by Rip ingot a stengthening committee coming in yesterday and i lashed down the bomb.. honestly, without fear i pointed out all contradictons with reference to the july 15 watchtower,.
the first article about sheep and goats, killing the year 1914 (that was a good move) and then ressussitating it in the next article about wheat and weeds( i said this is an irresponsible writing) and attempting to re emphasize it in the rest of the following article.
outrageous, dishonest and irresponsible.

Are they a bit thick? Short term memory problems? Lazy? Iliterate? Too busy? They are supposed to be the 'shepherds', so let them write to 'Mother' to get sensible answers to relay to you. Lay a guilt trip on them if they try to weasel their way out of doing their job.
Why would you want to talk to them anyway? What good could you reasonably expect to come from it?
Would you be better to ask your wife the questions and let her do the hard work to answer them? If you do that, don't go for overload. One really good question that affects her, not you, that you already know the answer for, or trickery for, is always better than tossing the whole garbage can at a JW.

should I tell the CO my doubts?
by Captain Blithering inits possible i might be asked by the co to work with him today.
hes gonna want to know why i'm holding myself back.
i'm itching to tell him about my doubts (only about the new light, how i cant get my head around how the hs would direct us to believe falsehoods for decades, not about everything, that'd be suicide!
